Director of Educational Content, Programming and Outreach

Jessica is a Third Culture Individual (TCI) whose parents served (well, one is still currently serving) in the Foreign Service. As a result, she was exposed to various cultures (India, Costa Rica and Ivory Coast are all wildly different!), customs and school systems before coming back to the United States. She graduated from an International Baccalaureate school in Lima, Peru with an IB Diploma. Jessica has over 10 years of experience working with students of all ages in classroom settings in the Maryland and DC area.
Jessica's current projects include positions as the Director of SAT/ACT Reading Programs at Loudoun Test Prep in Ashburn, VA, (where she has developed and implemented a comprehensive approach for students that attend SAT Classes there), and supporting an amazing program for aspiring Elementary Education A.A.T. Majors at Montgomery College School of Education as its Elementary Mathematics and PRAXIS Math Specialist.

When Jessica is not volunteering, spending time with her six and three year old daughters, or being an avid trivia enthusiast, she is working towards completing combined degrees:  a B.A. in Mathematics, an M.Ed program in Mathematics Education, and an MA/MPS in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. She also holds a B.A. in Psychology from University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and an A.A. in Integrated Studies with heavy emphasis on Mathematics and Psychology from Montgomery College. Jessica lives in Gaithersburg with her husband, their two daughters and their faithful rescue dogs, Marley and Dr. Frank-N-Furter.

English and Reading Mentor, SAT/ACT English and Reading Guide, History Guru

Nora is Third Culture Kid who grew up in Germany and England. After graduating early from Hood College with a B.A. in English and a concentration in Creative Writing, she found tutoring to be a far more rewarding occupation than anything else she tried. As a Mentor, she focuses on grammar and the reading part of standardized tests. Nora also thoroughly enjoys reading college application essays, and assisting students with their presentation and grammar to ensure a high quality essay attempt. She loves reading books by Terry Pratchett and watching superhero movies in her spare time, which she has less of than she seems to think.
